Gonna take a trip at the end of march. Spring break will be going on, so parties and nekkid women are a plus....

Tahoe or Utah? Never been to either, but Im accustomed to Whistler and big mountains.

Anybody have any ideas?

Tahoe's great & lots of nightlife, but for snow... Utah! If you are riding; Snowbird, Brighton & Solitude all are ~ 25 miles from SLC.

I went snowboarding in Tahoe 3 weeks ago, and the snow was AMAZING!

I hit Heavenly, North Star, Squaw Valley.

20 foot base, one of the best snow falls in 19 years. Lots of fresh powder.

All the casinos, or at least the big ones, are right next to Heavenly, which is one of Tahoes finest slopes. During spring break I hear they have killer parties on the mountains, and tons of cute chicks. There were plenty when I was there, that's for sure.

I've been snowboarding for 14 years and I could not recommend any place more highly than Tahoe, especially now. Utah's great, but Tahoe has a dozen resorts around the lake, from mellow, to places that hosted the Olympics. Take your pick each day....it's all there. Casinos at night, and you can show up in jeans...whatever...very casual.

And can ANY place beat the view while ripping down the side of a mountain?

I don't know the first thing about snowboarding or snowfall anounts but I was in Tahoe last May and the place is beautiful. Lots of things to do and plenty of nite life. I looked at one of the ski skopes and I think you guys are crazy to want to slide down something that steep. I don't know if I could pursuade myself to push off if I was standing at the top staring down. Good luck with your choice and have fun.

Tahoe is beautiful, but Utah's ski slopes are equally beautiful. Utah's snow is also better, on average.

Utah has the better quality snow(less water content) but sometimes they have less base than Tahoe.

Tahoe rules.I used to instruct at Kirkwood and I think it is the best resort around. It is an hour away from the North shore ie: casinos,so there aren't as many people.Kirkwood also has honest to goodness double black diamond runs.Shit the wagon wheel lift has a warning that says "advanced riders only",with a skull and crossbones beneath it.

Either choice you make, have fun.Go to Tahoe though, more to do when the sun goes down.

"Greatest Snow on Earth!" Does Califorina’s licence plate say that? NO

Snowbird (Utah) if you are are going just to ride. If you want to party too, then skip Utah and hit Heavenly (Tahoe)
