Yo, peeps.
Does anyone know of any good level 2 or greater armor under .12" thick? Asking because my stalker is a nut job and my second chance stands out like a sore thumb. |
|
How can I pass up the opportunity to be in this, what could go wrong?
|
|
I take it that there is no such thing? What's the thinnest options out there? I see a lot of stuff around .2 but i kinda figured that'd be about as bad as my current vest.

Safariland Hardwire is the thinnest armor (soft armor) that exists as far as I know.
It is also a bit new to the market...so not a lot of info beyond it is crazy light/thin. Kinda pricey... I would like to read a real first hand review. I have a feeling it may be stiff...very stiff...but I'm not sure. |

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because OP's post gave me cancer anyway.

MUCH more than regular aramid / Kevlar vest panels. |

I saw that thing get shot like 5 dozen times on youtube. |
