Any idea what a thermal imaging scope/monocular goes for, roughly? I am thinking of a handheld gizmo that would allow night vision and also function in daylight to expose concealed/camouflaged BGs. I found lots of mfg sites, but nothing with prices.

ELCAN makes a scope for the AR platform - I think it's about $13000.

I know that doesn't really answer your question, I just think it's cool.

$13K? Boutonniere money! I wonder if I can get them to pay shipping if I go ahead and get a half dozen.

Maybe they'll throw in some nifty lens caps or free batteries too.

I use one at work, made by ISG

Granted, it's made for Firefighters, but it retails for $18,500. Thermal Imagers are soo kewl. You can walk around in the woods and locate every animal around instantly, day or night.
