I like it.

Its directly proportional to the amount of illegal aliens that will soon be voting within the state.
Link Posted: 10/26/2013 6:19:00 PM EDT
Pft, Texas is good but over rated, and the DFW area should be turned back into Texas countryside

The Republic of Texas did take in the land of what are now other states, but it didn't look like that, but they sold off what doesn't look like Texas now and still couldn't make it so became part of the United States.

Please. Texas will be California with better BBQ, worse Chinese food, and chili without beans within ten years. Probably a lot sooner.

Meh.  Overrated.  Some nice people, the limited amount of public land is OK, some nice state/national parks, decent highways, but overall the state does not live live up to the internet hype.  Generic internet hype has the average texan riding the shortest of short buses.

<-has spent >13 months in TX.

Yup, only Southern Texas has been dominated by illegals and their offspring who are firmly dems and you've got extreme liberals in your cities already. DNC is pushing money into the State and doing everything it can to push you guys blue.

Face it, eventually you'll be California.

I love it when Texans stick their heads in the sand and ignore the takeover that is currently happening on their soil. Most of you conservative Texans are no different than the California Central Valley Conservatives. You will sit around and twiddle your thumbs until its too late.

Mitt Romney won the state of Texas with 57.17%, over Barack Obama's 41.38%, a margin of 15.78%.

It's really strange how all those US citizens who just happen to live close to the border vote so differently than the rest of the state.  Very puzzling.

That makes no sense.
Why would Kali trash move from a state with a thousand times better weather to a state that is also being over run by Mexicans? I think it's
a bogus argument. I live in Kali, own rentals in Kali, Nevada, and Oregon.

When I decide to settle in, it won't be in a boarder state, and definitely not HI.

I don't really care what you think "makes sense". Facts are facts.

The data show a pattern of movement over the past decade from California mainly to states in the western and southern U.S.: Texas, Nevada, and Arizona, in that order, are the top magnet states.

The state? Not at all. Those cities, yeah...

Y'all don't understand how big Texas is. Just look at that red vs. blue map. Unfortunately I happen to live in a blue city..  lol

But as a state? There no way Texas is flipping in the foreseeable future. And make no mistake, even if a general amnesty takes place Texas will find a way to block it / deny it.

Never mind that texas has a good economy, wasn't really affected by the real estate bust, constantly runs a surplus in its budget and ranks higher in GDP than many nations, let alone all the states except California.  Speaking of California, texas' poverty rate is 10% lower than commifornia.
