She still looks brand new and I had not held her in years. My WInchester mod 94 AE in .357. I got so busy with AR's. Glock's and all the semi-auto stuff that I almost forgot about my little lever action gun. I bought this gun 20 years ago for around $250.00 I looked at her price on gunbroker today and they are selling for $750.00. The sound of that lever action is sweet to the ears. Man I sometimes miss me some old school cowboy guns. I think this is my new truck or camp gun.

I traded my dealer a JUNK parts EBR (built with crap parts from my closet) using a cheap Century receiver FOR a 30-30 Model 94 a few years ago. He wanted a "trunk gun". Best trade EVER!

My Trapper Carbine in .44 Mag will never leave the box, after I saw what they are going for on gunbroker. (I bought it in the early 90's, and forgot about it)

I've wanted a levergun in .357 Mag, or .45 Colt for some time now. Never seem to meet up with one when I have the funds.

A lever gun is my next purchase. Lots of folks around here have been buying them lately. For the last couple months the only ammo I could find in local shops were 30-30, 44 mag and 45 colt but sadly its dried up too.

My trapper in .45Colt is one of my favorite hunting rifles, pulled the tang safety, installed a tang sight, and she is nice, handy, and oh so sexy

Got a 94 in 3030 bout a year ago on GB. Paid 400.

Made in 76-77.

Almost mint. Dammit, I was lookin for a ranch gun.

Guess I'll have to find another to fuck up.

This one, I just can't bring myself to actually use it.

Levers are great guns. I figure a lever in a common caliber would be a pretty good homeland defense rifle I you couldn't get your hands on an AR.

If it's a pre-'64, it's worth that and will appreciate. The WWII vintages are worth even more and the saddle rings really add value above that - $1,500 and up.
Winchester changed their manufacturing in 64, and the levers after that were not as good and won't bring $750 unless the buyer doesn't know what he's getting.

My Trapper is a .45 Colt. I really like the little beast, compact, throws a big slug, holds 8 rounds, and doesn't raise hackles on some fuds like my Ar does.

I can load this cartridge up enough to suit almost any game on the continent. Wouldn't really want to face down a grizzly or polar bear with it but it'd work with some luck and good shooting. Somebody try that and let me know how it works out!

I need to locate a single cavity 250 gr. RNL bullet mold so I can convert it to hollow point. Should make a good deer round.

Mine is a pre safety Angle Eject model, and not for sale!

My FIL recently gave my wife his dad's old marlin 1896 in 38-56. IIRC it was made in about 1904. It's got a octagon shapped barrel. Action isn't sloppy at all. I really can't wait to take it to the range. I've got a few original bullets for it and about 40 aftermarket reloads made from resized 45-70 cases. After that I'll have to load it myself.

I've got to get this house thing straightened out. Then I've got to get the Dillon 550 out of the box, figure out how it goes together, then figure out how to use it.

THEN I'm gettin me one of them .357 lever guns and a pistol to match.
