The left has become so used to using Alinsky's tactics that they are no longer aware that they're following them; they're only parroting what the generations before them have said and done. Remember the "Ghost Gunner?" The kid that made the little CNC box with a couple stepper motors to finish an AR lower? prior to that he was 3D printing usable, but impractical, firearms. The left lost their shit over it. IIRC, even the white house commented on it. This is right out of the playbook of the  they didn't even recognize that they were falling for the traps that they constantly try to lay. We need to think in terms of keeping them spinning their wheels and wasting their resources in areas they can be less effective, be peaceful, don't lose your cool and let them take the first swing. Remember the he/she that attacked the lady at the Trump rally or the #BLM protestors that assaulted the videographer at the university: "can we get some muscle in here?" Mis-steps on their side will shift public opinion away from them and they'll not receive the public sympathy they're expected. The actors are so far removed from the organizers today that they only know the plays, but not the strategy that developed them and it can be easily turned against them as the pawns lack the leadership to rein them in as the leadership does not effectively educate the actors as to the importance of keeping to the rules to achieve their desired results.

I doubt it will work. Only the idiots will fall for that. The smart ones will continue to scheme.

Yup. The Trump stuff is good. I didn't think of that. The strategy is to wrap the other side around an axle and let them waste resources. This is a cold war of sorts with the goal on both sides to deprive the other of resources to where they simply fold without violence.
