I'm from MA too, and I can tell you that New England has long ago forsaken it's past. You've become worst than CA in concerns to gun laws and other politics. Everyone that used to vote Republican has been driven out and you can find many ex-Masshole's sporting their Red Sox pride here in AZ or NV. Hell, Elizabeth Warren had she tried to run here, would have lost by a landslide because as I've learned clearly from the locals, we take our freedoms that fucking seriously.

No, all of MA is bad. I cannot even find one town that remotely has as many FSA as Brockton, Lynn, Avon, Dorchester, Randolph, Jamaica Plain, etc., etc. If you live in a town that has an anti gun chief, you're literally screwed if wanting permits. Here, being an American of a valid age and no felonies is your permit.

As for our borders, MA people have a nasty and ignorant habit of not giving a fuck because they don't give a damn about the repercussions because they think their far and enough away to see the problems up close and personal, so they vote for retards that want the illegals here because its in their interests to want repression and more free handouts from the libturd tyrannical big government full potatoes tit. You all talk a big game and want nobody telling you your business or what to do, yet you all vote to be told what to do and how to do it.

That's a myth you're spreading there.

Vermont has some of the best gun laws in the Nation. Constitutional carry even.

New Hampshire is not far behind.

Rhode Island is far less restrictive than you might think as well: no AWB, no magazine limits, etc. It lacks shall issue CCW.

Maine isn't too bad either.

Don't paint all of New England with a broad brush. It's not all CT and MA.

Fail.

In Maine, I can open-carry my rifle and sidearm to the LGS for some ammo, then come home to my back yard and shoot 30-rd mags all day long. Did I mention that I could buy those guns in a private sale with no state/federal involvement whatsoever?

While I agree that southern ME has been northern MA for 20 years, the other 90% of the star is hard-nosed, hard-working, freedom-loving American Yankee. I'm willing to bet that there are more guns per capita than nearly any other state, and a there are a hell of a lot of hunters and outdoorsmen/women. My mother is 74 and still bird hunts; her mother hunted into her late 70s.

Communism isn't birthed, it is shit out of a fat, greasy FSA retard's ass. Take a look at some of the other places that have have been overrun like Michigan, California, New York, Washington, etc. and compare them to the NE; there is no difference, and you'll find that those places have been the dank cornholes of liberal America for even longer.

I'm a Maine native… as far as we're concerned, CT and MA aren't even in New England any more.

Mine took fifteen minutes when I renewed it in April. It was typed up while I waited.

And oh yeah, we don't have to take a class or get fingerprinted either...and it costs ten bucks for four years...

And we have among the highest per capita ownership of NFA weapons in the country.

No income tax, no sales tax...

It's hysterical when people with fewer freedoms than I have preach about my state...

ETA: And since I'm all wound up, we have fucking campus carry, stand your fucking ground, fucking castle doctrine, and our fucking teachers can be armed. Yesterday when I picked my daughter up from school I was CCing a G19. Is that kosher where you live? The only place that we cannot legally carry here is in a courthouse. Bars, schools, banks, universities, movie theaters...perfectly legal. No stupid 30.06 signs, OC is legal, and owning this fucking shit is welcome and encouraged:

Any other pearls of fucking wisdom?

FUCK!

New Jersey isn't part of New England.

Also, to counter a foolish argument: New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. All awesome in their own ways. Mass and CT suck. Rhode Island is... well it's there. Kinda.

Also, unions and FDR (New York... also not New England) did more damage to this country than any two other factors.

Everytime I see a map like that it staggers me that so few places make the rules/laws we all live by.

Perhaps the answer is voting by county. 1 county 1 vote regardless of how many people live there. The county electio goes to the x candidate they get 1 electoral vote at the fed level. Not the entire states numbers.

When I asked my police chief where I could shoot at, he said. "I don't care. Stop on the side of the road and take a couple steps into the woods if you want. Just don't shoot on other people's property or at houses and you'll be fine."

Doubtful, the rest of the people living around you wouldn't do anything to restore liberty.  The majority there are already voting to give it away.

Not suggesting redrawing borders. Read what I said. County wide voting for senate and presidential elections. Don't change any borders, I never even mentioned that.

In michigan it only takes 3 cities to give the entire states votes to one party. Every election.  Every time.  If those 3 cities only counted as 3 of the total, you would see a different outcome. As it is now, those 3 cities are over 50 percent of the state.

It goes back much further than Madison.  Marxism began to be 'Americanized' in the late 1800's in New York and Chicago with rise of Anarchism as promoted by Michael Bakunin, and the rise of unions like the A.F.L and the Knights.

Madison became an intellectual gathering place for progressives much later.

I feel your pain.

One thing about it we could easily strangle the city states if push came to shove.....At least the land locked ones.

Cut the FSA off from outside support for their free shit and they will turn on their libtard politicians within a week and you could just pack you a picnic lunch and view the fires from high ground.
