Bad, sell it to me please....
Eta gen2 g19 has been my edc for over 10 years now; been looking for a spare for a while. |

Can she buy any glock mag chambered in 9mm and it will work? All but the sub compact g26 mag |
|
Quoted: Aim surplus just put a buncghh for 369. Yup that is what she bought. |

Quoted: Mum needed a minor upgrade from her s&w 915 http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/1/16/Glock19_2ndGen.jpg/400px-Glock19_2ndGen.jpg Good. I trust my life to one every day. Put better then 7,000 rounds through it with no malfunctions that I can think of. |
|
My last aim surplus 19 had the cop trigger in it. Nothing wrong with that, but I prefer the stock set up.
|
|
I have both pistols and would trust either, but Mom took a big step up.

|
Well, next to the 3rd Gen G19 it's the finest handgun ever made

My G34 racegun does HD duty for my mom when I'm not using it.
She loves shooting it because of its soft recoil and pointability, both of which were lacking from the J-frames she's accustomed to. |

I just picked up a Gen3 G19 and I approve of her purchase. Say what you will about Glock, I don't think there is a finer 9mm made. I still prefer HK for my 45s though.

Overrated handgun, but it'll do.

Aim surplus just put a buncghh for 369. i almost bit but not sure it's that great of a deal. first thing i'd do with an old used gen2 is rebuild it. that puts the price close to a new one. that said i prefer the gen2's. |

Just like mine, great pistol. Creates an addiction though.

Not an upgrade, especially if the S&W was lightly used, as it probably was. But either gun works.
S&W metal framed guns were very good. And I'm still running into Glocks throwing brass back into the face. I've shot two friends guns, a G19 and a G17, in recent months, and both put brass back in the face, unlike my older Glocks. |

We wash our Glocks in the dishwasher Are you guys serious when you say you sometimes wash your handguns in the dishwasher? Yes. Then I take them out and hit the inside with a quick squirt of CLP. Wipe down the barrel with a bit of 3-in-1 oil, and you are good to go. Glocks are like women. They like to be treated dirty, and shoved in the kitchen, and then randomly sprayed with fluid while being called dirty names. They are highly receptive to it. Start treating them like a queen 1911 and they start mouthing off, disrespecting you, and eventually find themselves in the hands of a man with rougher hands than you sweetheart. So fucking pull your glock out, call it a whore, and warn it next time it gets the whole fist up the magwell. |

Interesting Dan. I always thought you guys were joking. Not at all. Works great for mags too. |

I'd druther have the 915 Even if it wasnt lightly used. thems great guns.

"parental unit"??? Sorry that's just one of those pet peeves of mine. Maybe you can discuss this with your "wife unit". It was dumb but somewhat funny when used in the SNL Conehead skits and as far as I'm concerned hasn't gotten better with time.
