The Ruger P345 has one of the most comfortable and natural grips I have ever held. For you "P-series are shit" types, don't say anything until you have held and fired one.
Luger!
felt better than anything else I have ever held. for modern handgun, I enjoy the feel of the Beretta 92FS |
Browning BDM, I think they're half a sig (top half is sig made on contract from what I was told)
grip is great for small hands and is about the slimmest double stack on earth. In a kramer in the waist band holster it is the most comfortable and concealable gun i own. and that silly revolver mode is neat to use (DA setting) too bad it isn't in .40 cal my .02 |
Kimber .45 and S&W 686 4" with Hogue grips.
Both fit me perfectly HH |
The one and only Hi-Power.
Runner ups include the 1911 & CZ-75 |
Another vote for the Browning Hi Power. Although, the SIG P226 is pretty dang good as well.
not to hijack, but, DaveS, is that Knob Creek bourbon any good? |
yep me too but that probably obvious second to me is a 1911 |

+1 Honestly...I love the way Glocks feel. Especially the 19 and 23. My Kimber was pretty nice as well. Hogue grips made it feel very nice. Most uncomfortable handgun I have shot is my fathers S&W Chiefs Special (auto not revolver). I hate the way that guns feels. Well I suppose my buddies Hi-point .380 and .40 compact firestorm feel worse. You talk about some shitty handguns.... You think he would learn after having a hi-point. He plans on getting a new PT92 soon. I guess thats a step up for him. |

+1, or a 1911 with nice aftermarket grips (my preference are the pachmayr combat wraparounds). Glocks feel pretty nice to me believe it or not. Anything with a shape that fills your hand evenly and has good checkering that you can get a grip on. Most S&W (and similar) full-size .38 and .357 revolvers feel really nice with pachmayr or hogue grips. It's the small guns (particularly small revolvers) that are very hard for me to grip (not enough there to hold onto). Walther PPK and SIG P230/P232 feel alright but on the small side, with the SIG feeling slightly better than the Walther. The Makarov feels just as good as the Walther to me, and I appreciate it's larger grip. Never had a problem with any full-size autos, not sure about extremely large autos like the DE or Automag. |

Sig P229. Those Rossi .38 rubber grips are really nice, too.
+1 The XD is a close 2nd....without discussing customs like a Hammerli or something fitted. Obviously, they're vastly superior in fit....as they should be. |
It is which ever one feels the most comfortable in your hands, it really doesnt matter what others think.
The Israeli Jericho / M.R. Baby Eagle pistols fit me the best. It feels like a perfect extension of my hand. I'm convinced I need one.

I love the Luger grip but it's odd and different and I'm not quite used to it. |
Yep. The fullsize 9mm or 40 is wonderful. No grip safeties or plastic textures or weird grip angle. Plus it is thick in the "right" areas. |
Another for the 229. My Witness .45 feels pretty good too. The USP feels like crap in the hand. I love my Kimbers for the heft, but not quite as comfy as the sig.

Browning Hi-Power SIG P226 S&W L-Frames Glock 19/23 In that order. |
#1's a shocker. |
And Im right about it too |
Yeah, my wife says "1911" too. |
Glock 30. I really like my G23, but the extra width of the G30 is a perfect fit.
Worst I've shot would probably be a CZ 100 |
+3 I got one and love it |

The Sig 232 with rubber grips is most comfortable for me. But it does not have the knockdown power
of Kimber TLE II. |
You found a good woman then. |
Uzi eagle / baby eagle has the best grip. they may not be the best gun ever but they do have the best shape/feel. everyone that has picked mine up always says "man this really feels good in my hand" or something to that affect.
frames I like on a scale of 1-5 glock 17 frame=4 1911=4.5 baby eagle=5 luger=4 single stack sigs=4 browning HP/CZ75=4.5 |
Sig 220ST with Hogue wraparounds.
Mine points like my very own finger and when I carry it in my hand, it's like it becomes a part of me, and is no longer "justa gun" but literally an extension of me. |
