I wonder if the dunces over at Democratic Underground are a diversion from the real liberal agenda, because all their arguments are so simplistic, hollow, and betray a seeming lack of intelligence.  But then, I think, no liberal I have ever met has ever sounded intelligent.

 Yes, you advocate hate speech laws because you care about the First Amendment.  You want the government to make laws in respect to religion because you care about the First.  You want guns banned or severely prohibited because you care about the Second.  ETC.
 Don't you [u]repeal[/u] laws, and [u]reverse[/u] court decisons?  You are treating caselaw as regular law.  Mistake. And who is bringing an abortion case before the SC to address an ambiguity or unconstitutionality?

Didn't everybody get a tax refund?  What's this breeze about the rich only getting tax cuts?  And if you would study the issue, you would find that the privatization plan would give a typical 4-fold increase on returns.

 What are you hoping the government to do, and is is a job that is better performed by private citizens/organizations, or prohibited to government?  
Universal coverage does not mean better coverage, just more red tape.  For example, if you want to change insurance providors, you must submit the proper forms to your OLD company saying you have a new provider, and when the new providor's policy became effective.  You can't just call up the providor you don't want anymore and tell them to drop you.

What?  You mean Capitalism?  You mean this system that allows anybody with some planning and resources to completely provide for themselves, and also create jobs for other people?  Does this SCARE you, this empowerment stuff?
