Not Europe - the whole freakin' world except some Americans who can't understand the logic in placing a date in order from smallest unit to largest unit, i.e. date, month, year. 01/02/03 will not be until the beginning of next month. Of course, I avoid the confusion by always abbreviating the month whenever possible. |

what's so hard about putting them in the order they'd be said (like most of us), 01/02/03 is right... January 2nd of 2003.
It just seems more awkward to try and say the 2nd of january of 2003, 02/01/03. That's my guess as to why most people use the first method... who knows if I'm right or not. |
