Everyone has an opinion on just about everything here is mine on this....

A tool or a weapon can be underpowered or overpowered for a certain task thats why it is important to choose the proper tool or weapon for the task at hand.

If I am going to hammer a nail I use a hammer
If I am tightening a screw I use a screwdriver
Along those lines of thought....

For patrol, urban or CQB I would say M4
For slightly more open area M16 20" probably
For defensive purposes M60
For handgun it was M9
For long range it is Rem 700 or M82A1A depending on the range and the type of cover and concealment the target has
Then you have the MRK19 to help shake the ground
For anything worse find a hiding spot and call for fire or an air strike

Just my opinion.

Duct tape, a tin can and bailing wire, that's how I held my 74 GMC pickup together.
