I've got a younger brother who owns an XD. he's always going on about buying a smaller CCW but something always comes up to where he can't buy one. This has been going on for at least seven years, but that's not the point.

He's 6'-1'' and goes about 260lbs. I've got the same XD and wear it occasionally with a three slot pancake holster that keeps it tight against me. I'm 6'-0'' and weigh 187lbs.

I told him finally to buy a decent holster and carry what you have. You can't carry what you want to buy, so make due with what you've got. With his size, you wouldn't even notice a full sized pistol.

I finally, after years convinced him that holster selection would be the key and that he's got to look at options other than Uncle Mike.

I'm 5'7 143# and carry a full size M&P9 and have never been called out on it.  Comfy too in a MTAC.

I don't know what planet you guys are from, but in my world, it's much easier to conceal being fit & trim.
