The Hurricane was the first attempt at their monoplane fighter. It was a good airplane, but was quickly outclassed by the Spitfire.

I wasn't looking for anything other than clear air since we don't fly IFR. I was flying a charter from Juneau to Sitka to Haines and then caught a ride from Haines to my temporary home in Skagway. Those points are my routing. Between JNU and SIT I got into some serious shit weather but luckily I was able to work my way out of it. I love this job. |
