Link to question 2 and question 1 is here.

I know I said I would follow up Monday, but since folks are being shy, I will continue on today (aka Friday). I will also NOT be posting anything on this for the weekend.

Q1 was "If you go 1 mile over the posted speed limit, are you breaking the law?"

Q2 was "If you go 3 miles over the posted speed limit, are you breaking the law? "

Question 3 is:

If you go 5 miles over the posted speed limit, are you breaking the law?

Again, please stick with me on this one, I have some interesting points to make. Many have made some comments but I assure you, I am going with a different direction with this.

I'll throw in the fact that you can actually be driving UNDER the posted speed limit in many states, and STILL be breaking the law.

If the speed that you are driving is unsafe for the existing conditions at that time, then the officer can still issue you a citation for speeding.  At least, it's that way in CA, and also in TX, and it's probably that way in many states.

Did I just ruin your whole "I'm going somewhere with this" ?
