THX 1138

In the original Star Wars, it's the callsign of one of the troops guarding the Millenium Falcon after it's capture by the Death Star.

You're a nerd.

I'm too, but you're a bigger one.

Weren't they also escorting a prisoner (Chewbacca) to cell block 1138?

ETA: more in line with the intent of this thread, I agree on the references that you posted.  Especially Logan's Run.

I miss you more then Michael Bay missed the mark
When he made Pearl Harbor
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
And that’s an awful lot girl
And now, now you’ve gone away
And all I’m trying to say is
Pearl Harbor sucked, and I miss you

I need u like Ben Affleck needs acting school
He was terrible in that film
I need u like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part
He’s way better than Ben Affleck
And now all I can think about is your smile
and that shitty movie too
Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you

Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked
Just a little bit more than I miss you

Michael Bay makes horrible movies, but they all make over $100m, which is why producers keep hiring him.  The only exception is The Island, this is his first financial failure.

So not only does he look like a homo, almost all of his movies suck.

Armageddon and The Rock were okay, entertaining Saturday afternoon popcorn flicks but not good movies by any stretch.

Key point.
Scarlett was very hot!
I would watch bad movies to see her.

I watched about an hour of it - then shut it off a while ago.

Another wasted 4 bucks.

I just watched it a few hours ago. I liked it. Scarlett Johanson had too many clothes on tho.

I thought he remaid it before it was released in theaters.

Saw it.... didn't think it was all that special. Cool idea, but tempo of the movie seemed rushed and too slow all at once.

The plot of the entire movie is a ripoff...er adaptation of one of the MST3K movies "Parts: The Clonus Horror".

The original movie features Peter Graves.  The only significant change is the original does not have a happy ending.

After watching it, you will be happy it has ended, though.

Unlike most on this thread...   I liked it a lot.

I had the urge to re-watch Equilibrium right after

The Chrysler 300's set up like police cruisers were cool, though. Reminded me of when the police used DeSotos..
