That is what the movie could have been. It conveyed uncertainty, fear, hopelessness and devastation. Filmed beautifully with  panoramic still camera angles, and surreal audio which made you feel like you were really there. M

Instead we got a two hour crapfest of bullshit focusing on a character no one cares about because they couldn't afford Brian Cranston for the whole movie, on a clearly anti nuclear greenie bullshit story no one was interested in.

Biggest disappointment of last years movies. solid 3/10 movie.

Yeah, Godzilla himself is a metaphor for nuclear weapons.

Even if so it was terribly done. Let's put a nuke on a fucking train and throw six soldiers on it? That's the best way to transport a nuke?

If you watch porn for the plot, you're doing it wrong.

That is a pretty low insult to garbage, for you to compare it to that film.

We are at war.

Except only one side is doing the fighting.

So weird.  We're you watching this with my family just a few minutes ago?  We just got done watching it.  I liked it but there was a lot of stupid.  Didn't like them killing off Cranston so early and would have preferred him being in it rather than the son.  I enjoyed it showing things I'd always wanted to see, like an Abrams shooting Godzilla in the chest.  It was an entertaining monster flick.

Made a Godzilla movie, forget to include Godzilla in it. Pacific Rim was so much better. Who decided Kick Ass deserved to be cast as the lead as an action star needs their head examined. I was really looking forward to that movie and was let down. Other monsters sucked too. Why the fuck would they hire Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe and give both of them barely any lines. Directing was okay, script was terrible. Hollywood is full of talentless assholes...

I liked the movie, well the monster battles were great.

I don't know, I kinda like seeing Godzilla force-feed blue nuclear fire to a MUTO.

Godzilla was in the film, I thusly enjoyed the film immensely!

Normally I'm the "I cant get into this film because it's unrealistic" camp but. Something about that firebreathing lizard man.

I hated this movie. I think this director is also scheduled to do one of the new Star Wars movies too
