All right, a new movie adapted from a James Ellroy book!  The book was awesome.

Can't place the song but I'm looking forward to the movie.

IMHO, Josh Hartnett is too young looking/acting to play that part properly though.

He's not a very good actor.  He never leaves any sort of impression, his performances are never memorable or outstanding, he never really lends anything to the part, never brings anything to the movie.

A quick search says that the song is "Dirge" by Death in Vegas.

Though Hartnett might not be the ideal choice, hopefully a master like DePalma can get something out of him. The writer of L.A. Confidential too? Count me in.
