Alot of people on the board seem to say that Bass Pro never has anything of interest, or they never have anything other than hunting shotguns etc. So I decided to get a few photos and show the blessings of my Bass Pro gun counter

(pardon the blurry images, I realized that the flash neutralizes the bluriness after the fact)

Yes, that is a Desert Eagle

Prices... in my eyes they are lower than what most gun stores sell for, but of course, nowhere near what you can get them for over the internet.

On the plus side, the $529 Glock you buy at BP, gives you about $15 of rewards points... so it's a free box of ammo.

...and not one single, black, pistol-gripped, flash-suppressed, magazine-fed, military-styled rifle to be had.

They do sometimes have good deals on ammo, though.
Last time they had a sale on WWB 9mm, with a 500 round maximum, I went back 5 times.

I know, I'm slacking off......

I refuse to stand in line for 10 minutes (or more) so Bubba can show me a shotgun he knows nothing about

I'll stick to the mom and pop shops.

We just got a Bass Pro Shop here...

The biggest selection of politically-correct outdoor goods at full-retail prices I have ever seen.

I was definitely whelmed...

National LE Distributors right down the street from me in Davie has Glocks NIB for $479.

BPS is the shiznitt for fishing supplies, but for firearms...  Luckily, P.T. Barnum was right.

I bought my Dad's BM XM15 A3 20" there. Out the door $912 and Eotech 512 for my M4 A3  $330 while I was working down there. Will be buying my SA Loaded MC Operator from him too. Steve gave me an AWSOME proce on one.

The BPS in Ft. Lauderdale was pretty sweet for any hunter/fisher/boater... Like a candy store. They had a SA 1911 for $499, don't remember which, but it was a 5" in .45.

Those guys (place) is REALLY proud of their stuff. They wanted $900 for a standard M4 A2 DPMS. That's why I went to National Firearms there in Davie.

They still had it there today.  They kind of piss me off too, they say thay can't sell ARs or accessories for them but they have LULA AR loaders there.  They also have Mini-14s so why cant they sell a gun that uses the same round and has the same mag. capacity?  A salesman told me that it was company policy that they can't sell ARs or any other "Assault Weapons", he said it's been company policy since they opened in 1902,

If anyone ever finds an AR-15 made in 1902 let me know I will pay top $$$ for it.

$224.50 per 1000 rounds.  My, BP is dropping the price on 3131A, used to be over $300  I used to go in to the local BP and look around, and back when they had decent sales associates who would do somewhat reasonable customer service, I would ask for case discounts (mind you this was when I could buy a case for 149.99), and the associate told me it was BP's policy to not give discounts of any kind, so I went down to the local gunshop and picked up a case at my normal price, then took the recipt to the customer service desk to show them they lost a sale.

Those guys at Guns and Knives have a gdecent selection. The one time I went in there, a huge guy was being an asshole, so I didn't give them my business.

Those guys at National on 84 are cool, but I'm not paying $1100 for a Bushy M4, they can stuff it.

I do raid there $5 Glock magazine bin whenever I'm there though

My bass pro in Myrtle Beach is good as well.....I called them to see if they might have any Winchester 94 or Model 70 Classic Featherweights left since my local shops could not find any after they announced the closing of Hartford Plant.

Not only did they have 12 of the Mod 70s in various calibers and configurations....that had much much more....even held a Classic Featherweight in .308 for me for two days so I could drive up and purchase the pretty little thing.

Great stores....going back next week to see what else I can find...

w4klr,
If you go in and talk to Steve @ National & tell him, or better yet show him a lower price, like from the internet, he will often meet or beat the price to turn over inventory.

Yes, I am interested in how large these other Bass Pros around the country are, The one here in Vegas is HUGE, I'm guessing they are not all this big.
