I recall a tweet re: smoke alarm chirps and the fundamental lack of comprehension of the connection between the actions current self and the condition of future self. An example used was a mother saying my baby didn't do anthing, the implication being that since the action wasn't happening currently, there was no way for her to comprehend that the sentence carried out was connected to an action incurred in the past. I wonder if anyone saved that tweet.

I think porn will have very sizable long lasting effects on society. We don’t want to talk about it since it’s not really an ennobling topic for anyone involved. I think it forestalled the revolution by about 10 years if I’m honest. I also think it will make the revolution worse…

Sometime in the mid to late 90s the standardized tests I was taking a couple times a year in elementary school switched from having Hispanic in the race question with everything else to having its very own "ethnicity" category that was simply "Hispanic or Latino" and "not Hispanic or Latino".
