I had a conversation with a clergyman last week who was convinced that some obsurdly high amount of tea party voters don't believe in the theory of evolution and natural selection. Based on that information, true or not, that is how he percieves all conservatives...

Notice how they don't even address any of the actual grievances of the Tea Party? Specifically that the debt the government is incurring so recklessly is going to fuck us all over and lower our standard of living far into the future? And that people who play by the rules and behave responsibly now have to pay and bail out the people who didn't?

Based on my experiences talking with moderates who don't care much for politics, those shirts are right. Heck, the libertarians I know who don't care much for politics feel the same way.
