I went to my 93 year old grandmothers house who doesn't move around much anymore. She lives in a closed community, has care takers and through her husband who was ww2 Airforce and GM mechanical engineer lives a good life.

I decided she needed to get out of the house and went down to the golf course and bought a game and a cart. I broke the rules and drove the cart off the course and up to my grandmothers house where we loaded her into the cart and we toured the area where she has lived for 40+ years. We drove probably where carts were not meant to go, retraced her walking paths, visited the garden etc. all in all it was was pretty darn fun.

I told her, she is lucky that if she didn't bring her caretaker we would have been jumping curbs and four wheeling up hills. She looked at me and said I know. Hehe I was joking of course.

Then we had a huge meal prepared by her care takers, just her and I.

Awesome day.

I like that! That's cool!

I'll bet she had a really good time. Hope someone would do that for me when I'm in my silver years.

Went to my brothers' and SIL's house for T-giving dinner. He let me carve the turkey! I should have carved half the bird, there was lots left over.

Took my new wife and son (wife and I were married in May). She prepped some rolls, that was all. I was struck by the fact that (except for my son) I am the healthiest person in the house! That was sobering.

All in all, a great time was had by all. The girls chatted, the men did guy stuff (he has a garage full of woodworking tools, and works HARD to keep it organized!), and my son played World of Tanks all evening. (There were no other teens there.)

I ate too much.  Farted too much.

smoked oyster dressing with bacon and sausage does a number on my gut.

This! ^

I had "Thanksgiving" with my family last Saturday, when everybody was able to attend. That was Thanksgiving to me. Today I made a KILLER brunch, watched sports, then went out to dinner with the kids who were here today. Nice day.

We had a Thanksgiving party for my wife's homeschool group. 40 or so people attended. We prepared the turkey, then took it home, as someone else had brought one. Lots of frozen turkey in the freezer!

Then Lowe's had a sale on turkey, 63 cents a pound! I bought 2, cooked 1 and the other is frozen. Gonna be lots of turkey sammiches in the Symptoms household!

Had my parents, sister and kids,  grandma and uncle over. I did the turkey. Just roasted nothing fancy but it turned out good.  I almost had a gravy disaster because it turned out lumpy.  But my wife suggested we put it in the Vitamix.  Problem solved.

My wife woke up with hives this morning.  Not sure what triggered them.

Had an uncle get mad and try to fight a tow truck driver once. Of course the tow guy was only there because uncle showed up drunk and parked his car in the middle of the street. I don't like my family

Went to my mom's and had a nice dinner.

Skipped the usual tour of duty because her mom decided to go insane, ransack her son's apartment, trash her apartment, punch her apartment manager and assault a lady cop.

Now we have her cat and she is in the psych ward. TaDa

Had my great uncle and aunt come down from the farm.  They're in their 80s and it was great to have them down to see all the family and friends.  They are the last of my grandparents' generation still around.

He put a hurtin' on my bottle of JD single barrel.  Reminds me I need to find a bottle for him since he says he has trouble finding it at home.

Not much.
Wife had to work, I made a small dinner of boneless turkey breasts, and usual sides.
She got home at 8 PM, had to go back out at 3 AM.
