So I have been looking for a small piece of property to buy and keep coming across these small rural sub-divisions. They are priced anywhere from 1k to 10k for a 5 acre lot. There are a bunch of these sub-divisions Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, etc. Some have water rights, and none seem to have any electricity near them. I'm guessing that is one of the reasons they are so cheap. Anything else I should look at?
