Unbelievable, shoot a guy, and leave him to die while you go party.
Murder pure and simple, how do you shoot a person (twice) while thinking they're a squirrel.

+1  I've shot a lot of squirrels.  Red, grey and black.  There is no way on God's Green Earth you could mistake a squirrel for a person.  "Identify your target and beyond".  I know I read that somewhere.  

But, as usual, there will be a plea bargain.  He will be sentenced to 6 years in prison and serve 2.  Then he'll get out and do it all over again.
