I need help with a buddy's semi-auto shotgun. He cannot find a manual for it anywhere; including checking with Sears. The gun is a semi-auto shotgun Ted Williams Model 300 2 3/4" barrel.
We went shooting today and neither one of us could get it to cycle on a consistent basis. For the guys that will ask if we were holding it tight into the shoulder and leaning forward a little, yes we were.
Anyhow here are some pics I took of it and any help, advice, or information on the gun would be appreciated.

This pic is of the adjustable choke. You can turn the choke from full-improved cyl-mod. cylinder. The whole end can be screwed off and you can feel clicks as you turn the choke.

The barrel inscription reads: (top line)Ted Williams M300 12GA 2 3/4" V.C. (bottom line) Sear Roebuck & CO. No. 273.1350

On the left side of the receiver, right above the trigger it reads: (top line)M300 12 GA 2 3/4
(second line) Serial No. (bottom line) Q52xxx

This is the same identical model of the Winchester 1400 shotgun. In fact, it was made for Sears by Winchester. Sears never made their own firearms, they were made by just about all the major players over the years and then stamped with the Sears name and model number.

Contact Winchester and ask for a manual, they will send you one free of charge.
