So where's the big changes in the party from within?

Count on Uncle Ted to tell it like it is. Sad to say but it's true.

Bush has been almost as disappointing as his father and is getting worse. Praising Perdue? How about some GD refineries and exploration!!! Put on your tin foil caps but I'm beginning to think Bush is going to let Iraq turn into a Viet Nam type quagmire just to sabotage the Republicans much like his idiot father did with the "read my lips" BS! GD I'm getting pissed!!!

Instead of the annual easter egg hunt on the White House lawn, he could have a 3-D archery tournament, or a Bunny Shoot!

I don't think GHWB was going on stage with an AR15 telling people to embrace their second amendment rights.

I don't remember you saying it, but I'd have been with you. It's getting difficult for me to rationalize changing Democrats by another name from the inside. Anymore there's about a dime's worth of difference between us and Democrars. Do you know what I think would send a message? A mass exodus of our conservative base towards a thrid party. "Vote with your feet", as it were. When the Republican party gets their act together, we could all come back.

Whoa, don't get me wrong, I love Uncle Ted! And I'm an NRA supporter. Just noting that just because a politician has an NRA Lifetime doesn't mean they wont shank us in the legislative showers.

Isn't Michael Moore (*spits*) an NRA member?

Cage match between FatAss Moore and Ted... something tells me Moore would be up on Ted's buckpole with his 'backstraps' on the grill but quick...

It is easy to complain and condemn when it isn't you in the arena.

President Bush needs all the help and support he can get in these troubled times.

I agree, but Ted's observation is spot on accurate! The president has lost his way...

Nuge all the way - GWB needs to pay attention to the borders and develop a comprehensive energy policy that makes us self-reliant.

Republican over-spending is a HUGE disappointment. Medicare Drug program is like several Cat 5 Hurricanes.

I'm thinking the best thing is for the Congress to be hopelessly deadlocked 99% of the time. It lessens the damage.

What was it Mencken said, "Every election is an advance auction of stolen goods."

Man, I had some intense flame wars with RikWriter and ETH over the issues.

It just pisses me off to no end to hear all these 'Republican' guys bailing out now, when the time to put pressure on Bush was prior to his election when he actually had something to lose.
