Team Jebs’ Newest Strategy – Push Ben Carson?…

The GOPe Road Map is contingent upon all 10 candidates that are part of Team Jeb remaining in the race until various points within the primary.   Nine of the candidates are party insiders recruited to act as early primary state splitters (Gilmore -VA, Pataki -NY, Graham -SC, Perry -TX, Kasich -OH, Rubio -FL, Huckabee -AR, Fiorina and Christie).

This allows the Road Map to succeed with 15 to 20% support for Jeb – depending on primary state location.  However, when the plan was constructed it’s obvious they never anticipated a Donald Trump candidacy.

The original plan was created to defeat Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Scott Walker (Donald Trump was never factored into the strategy).

There are numerous signals now becoming visible that Team Jeb (RNC/GOPe) is working to talk up Carson.

The GOP becomes more despicable by the day, and here I was thinking Fiorina might actually be viable.

Unfortunately for them I think the Doc is too smart to let Jeb use him for his own political gain and this strategy will backfire in their face.

Seems to be part of this strategy that will happen after Labor Day:

LOL.  Sounds like Jeb's trying to take credit for the rise in Ben's popularity.

Because any Bush getting elected has to rely on deception. Jeb has been MUCH less opaque in hiding his big government, statist beliefs and needs help his Dad and brother didn't need.

Lying scum.

It would be nice to have a honest to goodness genius as a GOP POTUS for a change rather than some dullard that's beholden to the US Chamber of Commerce.

Agreed.  I heard him on Dave Ramsey the other day.  He's a hell of a smart guy.

"Muahaha, you poor deluded fools, being wildly unpopular with all of the voters everywhere is all part of our nefarious plot!  Behold our poll numbers dropping into the low single digits, it has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams!  We're so completely despised by our own base that no one can stop us now!  [maniacal laughter]"

The liberal media, the RINOs, Fox News, and the pundits are all pushing anyone but Trump.
Then when support fades from Trump to say Dr. Carson, Walker, Cruz, etc. They will say he is unelectable as well and push Jeb because Jeb has all the donor money and they don't. They cannot sustain a long term campaign against him.
These are the same ones that brought us Dole, McCain, and Romney as great candidates.

Many people have taken the comment about losing the primaries in order to win the general election far too lightly.

The interaction of the Republican party rules which effectively limit the number of candidates whose name will be permitted to be considered for nomination and state laws regarding convention delegates' votes on the first ballot could result in a large number of uncommitted delegates at the convention.
The Bush family has been at this game for a long time and they started planning JEB!'s run before the last presidential election. He wouldn't be doing this if there wasn't a path to the nomination.

Yeah, there's hardly any reason to bother voting anymore. Quite sad.
