I just got a case of tannerite, 1/2 bottles. After mixing, does one shoot the whole bottle? Can I put the mix in smaller containers? What kind? Thanks, this is the first time I have some. Cant wait to shoot it up.

Mix it up good and sub divide into small containers. I use 35mm film canisters, they sound like an M-80.

+1 on film containers. I paint them dayglow so I can see them.

Here is the deal with this stuff. Use the bottles it came with. You have to mix really GOOD or it really won't be worth a sh**. I hope you are a good shot. Be sure to hit right in the middle of the bottle. Even after it blows, if you were to walk over and find that there is a little clump of the mix laying on the ground you could still blow it up if you shoot it. What kind of rifle are you using? If you mix good and hit the bottle in the right spot you can blow a car's roof straight off. I have pics I need to put on here. Good luck!

Or wrap them in flourescent duct tape. Quicker & not so messy.

These are neat little charges to set off when you really shouldn't be setting off tannerite at all.

Your best solution would be to take the case of 1/2 pound bottles and mix them all together into one giant 10 pound bottle. Then shoot it.

LOL! That's awesome.

yup, then you put it out about 20 yards in front of the firingline, pile rocks around it, shoot it, and you have successfully claymored yourself! You'll be famous!

not since they have the new mixture. the old stuff clumped, the new stuff doesnt. I have had zero problems with clumping or setting it off with the new stuff.

Who's set off more then 15 bottles at once? My personal record, which I plan to break soon.

Thats good to know because that pissed me off when you have half the bottle gone to waste. The bottles that did go off without spill..holly cow did they blow shit up. I'll have to check the new stuff out.

No kidding. I don't think you can go to the local feed store anymore and buy
ammonium nitrate at any price.

I know another source, and it's treated with zinc oxide so the AN doesn't absorb water from the air. Better than anything you could get from a feed store or even lab grade.

8 lbs can - $24.95, the low weight waives hazmat shipping fees.
