And your not likely going to anytime soon then. Do you feel the same about other Anerican sports like football and baseball? Some of us Americans want to do more than sit in a dark room and troll arfcom...

No I don't follow the games that are called sports. I choose to be the person having the fun instead of watching others have fun. My opinion; and it's just an opinion, is that hunting and fishing are the only true sports. Everything else is just a contest or game.

TexRdnec gave me a good idea on how to enjoy an event like Talledega. Thanks Tex. booshmaster on the other hand makes a hasty assumption based on his/her hurt feelings because I don't gush over his/her idea of entertainment. booshmaster seems to think that watching his/her event makes you an American. Too funny!

Hafta say I find this rather funny from someone with a 27 post per day average
Not to mention being here barely a week, and already at it with the smartassed obnoxious comments in just about every thread posted to....

Now what was that about trolling ?

OK, I have a question about that caution during the final pit stop. I thought the field froze as soon as the yellow flag flies. If that was the case, Jr. would not have restarted in 11th but would've been back in the high 20s. Several other cars passed him as he was coming on pit road before the caution came out. Can someone please explain this to me?

Edit: Oh, and it looks like I was wrong - the field survived the run of Wreckin' Robby.

I went to see an IRL race at Chicagoland Speedway a couple years ago with dad and it was pretty fun.

Anyone catch Junior's little slip in the post-race interview?

That'll cost him a few dollars I'm sure.

Everyone caught it. Heck first thing they did was apologize for his enthusiastic language.
I'm sure he could give a sh!t about the fine now that he's second only to Sr. for victories there.

Good performance from Jr. today, but of course that wasn't unexpected given the track. I hope that Ryan can pull off a couple of wins here late in the chase.

Can't wait 'til Martinsville!

"Don't mean shit" and damn he can drive!!!!

and JR.!!

Junior fined 25 championship points and $10 000.

Expensive "shit", eh?

25 points for cussing?

The fix is in, boys...

Why? A precedent had been set earlier this season. Cuss on TV or radio and you're fined points and dollars. It doesn't matter if the words are uttered in anger or jubilation.

I'm just glad to see NASCAR exhibit some consistancy.

I pulling pretty damn hard for Jr to win the title. Harvick is my guy, but I pull for Jr almost as hard. I just don't care for his sponsor. This is fair.

Have to say even though I am not happy about the fine and the points loss (I really want to see JR get a championship), it's only fair, he was wrong, didn't offend me, but I am sure it did some. If you fine others with $$ and points, then you have to JR too.

You forgot billards and bowling.
