It's not bad depending on what you use it with where as the chipotle can be used on damn near anything.

The garlic is pretty smooth use it mostly as a marinade booster or just before i pull chicken off the grill.

Try you'll like it.

I love it in beans.  I buy the big bottles of it and the regular Tabasco.  I wish they would put the garlic flavor into a big bottle as we use it more than any other.

Everything is Chipotle these days....WHAT IS IT? I'm out of the loop. On a similar note, has anyone had the Tobasco Cheez Its? I was hooked for a couple months - I had to quit cold turkey because I was eating so many of them.

I like to use it when I cook, it gives me another option for imparting a smoky flavor to dishes other than liquid smoke or smoked food like bacon.

Yep, good stuff, especially on chicken I think.

A chipotle (chu pote lay) is a smoked jalepeno pepper.

www.gourmetsleuth.com/chipotle.htm

I buy them canned and add them to chili, tacos, etc.  The canned ones come packed in adobo, which makes a good taco sauce, although it is a bit spicy.

Is it pronounced CHEE-POT-LAY  or  CHEE-POL-TAY?  I hear it both ways on TV.  I need to know before I buy the stuff.

Good stuff indeed!  I love it on pickled herring and onions atop an original flavored Triscuit

I prefer the regular Tabasco. The chipotle version isn't bad but I don't like the smoked flavor on everything I use pepper sauce on.
