Just looking at those pics in the photo gallery, I can understand AND feel the seething hatred (yes I am a HATER to any DU lurkers or trolls) that my father feels for the counter-cultures of the 60's and 70's.  I really loved the COMMUNIST salutes that the crowds were giving (also the Black Power salute, but the meaning is much more sinister in this case).  99.9% of those VETS.....god that makes me ill just to even say that....were either never in the military or were REMFs.

I weighs upon my heart to see people do that and still consider themselves American.    I would not be so emotional if they admitted they HATE this country and want to see it re-formed in their own "image"
