I had a hunting web page with Geocities for about a year, but they shut it down. When I went to log on for some updates, I got a warning page saying it was shut down because of the content and called it a crush site. All I had on there was some of my hunting pictures, and pictures of guns. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

BTW, to all those that know me, it's glad to be back. I have been away for a while due to my health.

Oh man.......that bites.........

If they get a look at my geocity hunting site, they will probably shut it down as well. Based on the content of my site, they may push PETA to try and have me confined. he he he he.

Guess I better make sure I have a copy of the code..........

I back up my website to cd regularly for precisely this reason. After all, I've put up articles with titles like "why I like violence." No telling who might decide I'm 'offensive' and try to get me censored.

I'm starting to have conflicts over who, in the majority, runs our country. Is it...

A.) Liberals
B.) the Bible-beaters
C.) the PTC
D.) the Media

Bring your #2 pencils, kiddies, because I'm wondering which one exactly is the strongest group I hate the most. Oh and about the bible-beater things, I only have a problem with them (down where I live) b/c they influenced our senator that "the Lottery is the tool of the devil", and years down the road b/c of that I can hardly afford to pay for school anymore. I'm getting a job in Georgia; the state of Alabama doesn't deserve my qualified skills when I get out of college, and I hope it goes to Hell in a handbasket because of it.

But maybe I've said too much...

I think a crush site has to do a twisted fetish that some people have who get off on watching small restrained animals getting stopped to death by a woman wearing high heels. There was a story on the news last year about some guy and woman who were selling crush videos getting busted for animal cruelty.

After I created a page at geocities about resisting the onslaught of socialism in America, a friend warned me that geocities was known for completely wiping out sites like that and suggested that I mirror it somewhere.

How it works:

Someone finds your page.
They are offended.
Instead of deleting the link and never going there again (the proper response), they complain to GeoCities.
GeoCities deletes the site.

This kind of crap pisses me off. Im not even gonna get started on a rant. Ill give good news instead, if you want to do it Ill give you some webspace off of my webhosting service. My only rule is no porn. Go somewhere like www.register.com and register a domain name, and Ill cover the transfer expenses and give you enough web space to operate your site. Then your back up and dont have to worry about some commy shutting down your internet site. Just send me a email at [email protected]

Jewbroni...my first guess would be "d" since they have the best grip on most of what we hear...but who knows....and, i don`t think you`ve said ENOUGH....but thats just my opinion...did you ever watch canadian or international news programs and wonder were these reports were on usa "constricted" tv?.........[heavy]

I had 19.5 mb worth of firearm related web pages on Rosie's page until it got deleted a few months ago. When back and made a new one about a week later - it's still on an acmecity.com server.

Jewbroni - We have a lottery in Texas that was supposed to pay for education. That's how the Legislature got it past the 'Bible-beaters' or as they're known here, 'good decent folk.'

Haven't seen a dime's worth of decrease in the property taxes for education, so don't worry too much about having to pay higher taxes. We still do and we [u]have[/u] the Lottery.

Lottery is a big 'pie in the sky' kind of BS - it appears that in South Carolina the issue was enough to elect a liberal DemocRat as Governor, with the help of outside 'agitators.' The 2000 Lottery Referendum promised $1,000,000,000.00 for a new education building program. Wonder how it's delivered so far?
