Association of American Physicians and Surgeons: Mask Mandates Ineffective Against Respiratory Viruses, Harmful, and Infringe on Informed Consent Rights
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has released a statement challenging the effectiveness and ethicality of mask mandates for respiratory viruses, including COVID-19. The AAPS argues that not only are these mandates ineffective in stopping the spread of respiratory viruses, but they also pose potential health risks and infringe upon individuals’ rights to informed medical consent. AAPS is a non-partisan professional association of physicians in all types of practices and specialties across the country, created in 1943. “The AAPS statement of Patients’ Freedoms provides that patients have the right to be informed about the risks and benefits of any medical intervention, and have the right to refuse medical treatment,” according to the press release. “The use of masks and other face coverings, as a public health measure or otherwise, are a type of medical intervention to which the above informed consent rights apply.” “Government recommendations and mandates regarding face coverings have been contradictory, provided to the public as authoritative without evidence, are in conflict with the available data, and neglect to mention any potential harm from use of coverings or masks,” the association added. In challenging the effectiveness of masks in preventing the spread of respiratory viruses like COVID-19, the AAPS cited a Cochrane systemic review. The review found no clear evidence suggesting that medical or surgical masks were effective in reducing respiratory viral infections among healthcare workers when compared to N95/P2 respirators. The AAPS statement also delved into the potential harm that can result from prolonged mask usage. Drawing on over 60 studies and reports, it listed several areas of concern: Prolonged use of mask is not a neutral event and in fact can cause harm. “Prolonged use of N95 and surgical masks by healthcare professionals during COVID-19 has caused adverse effects such as headaches, rash, acne, skin breakdown, and impaired cognition in the majority of those surveyed.” Findings indicate that wearing the N95 mask for 14 hours significantly affected the physiological, biochemical, and perception parameters in a negative fashion. The possibility that masks hinder the acquisition of speech and language in children exists. “Overall, the research to date demonstrates that the visible articulations that babies normally see when others are talking play a key role in their acquisition of communication skills. I found this study to be quite interesting. It was done by a "hollistic medicine" practitioner in Michigan. His contention was that doctors had been treating viral lung infections for decades successfully. The treatments consisted of vitamins at the first level, then nebulized things like hydrogen peroxide and iodine, with IV versions if the infection was particularly acute. Note that they didn't use IVM or HCQ.
Note that his peer-reviewed paper was done in July of 2020. Successful treatments *were* available at the time. The HEGT shots should have never been approved. |

Offit and Fauci claimed there had been placebo controlled trials on childhood vaccines and kept stonewalling the proof that there had been. After getting hit with a lawsuit Offit admitted there wasn't. Offit also voted to approve every covid shot. He didn't like the safety signals of the RSV vaccine but the board unanimously voted to approve it. GSK had stopped trials on pregant women because the premature births and neonatal deaths shot up. IIRC, GSK stopped their trial, Pfizer came up with essentially the same drug and now they're both approved. The entire narrative of the fish tank story, Trump's statements about hyrdochloriquine, and the studies about it prior to COVID were massively manipulated by the media. It was absolutely terrifying at that moment to me to see how front line doctors, some of whom were ready to use hydrochloriquine in an effort to do something (rather than nothing) were immediately shut down. Anything along the way of this entire COVID narrative that wasn't the vaccine was being smashed to bits by the media and "the science" especially if Trump mentioned it. Listen to this mother try to kindly talk to Peter the weasel Hotez about her concerns with the COVID vaccine and her children, and Hotez immediately calls her a useful idiot for the anti-vaccine movement and tells her that she is putting other kids in harms way. He then starts spouting completely false statistics about the injury rate being 1 in million, and when they question him on it, he tells her to read his book. Unbelievable. This is a perfect demonstration for how much abject contempt he has for you. He doesn't care if you have a vaccine injured child or how much evidence of harm there is from the COVID vaccine or any other vaccine. There was a group on Facebook that had over 30,000 members discussing this in 2021, right up until FB deleted it. Was a wild and crazy conspiracy at the time.
