Seasons Greetings: TAPCO certainly appreciates all of your orders and looks foward to providing your holiday needs. The holiday season is rapidly approaching and time is of the essense. We would like to help you make this an enjoyable season, so we thought it would be helpful to give you an update on some schedule changes and shipping guidelines. TAPCO will observe the following holidays by closing the office. Thursday November 22nd and Friday November 23rd for Thanksgiving. Monday December 24th and Tuesday December 25th for Christmas and January 1st for New Years Day. We will be open on Monday December 31st. In addition to the rare times when we close the office to enjoy the holidays with our families, we would like to give you a heads up about how UPS operates in December. In most cases they request that all packages be shipped by December 10th for Christmas delivery and they stop guaranteed shipments around that date for ground shipping. For air shipping methods they will likely stop the two or three guarantee by December 20th and next day air by December 23rd. This means if the package ships after the described dates they will not guarantee the package will arrive by Christmas and will offer no refunds in shipping costs. Since we will be closed at the end of business on the 21st until after Christmas all orders that require a shipping date before December 25th must be placed by Friday and may require air delivery. In addition, due to recent events with the mail system it would be best to place orders going by mail early and keep in mind that packages sent through the Post Office cannot be tracked or traced and claims for lost packages cannot be made unless 30 days have passed from the shipping date. To process the order in a more timely manner we would like to recomend that you include a physical address for all orders in case the package cannot go through the Post Office. It is our shipping policy to send all orders over 3 lbs, $100.00, to apartments, businesses and those with a separate shipping address by UPS. These orders can go by UPS air unless they contain ammo or flamable items such as Trioxane bars. All orders going to apartments, businesses, separate shipping addresses, over $200.00 and containing ammo will require UPS delivery and an adult signature at the time of delivery.
