I just bit into a the hottest pepper I have ever tasted.

I drank water, but it did not do much good.

My lips are still tingling.

It is a dark green, kinda like a jalapeño... except much, much hotter.

Any ideas what it kind it might be?

I dunno, but if you want the spicy to go, drink milk and eat bread next time.Water is useless.

Milk. It's the oils that are burn, and Water will not dissolve Oils. Milk!

Margarine or butter.  The oils/fats with absorb some of the capsacin(SP) and provide relief.

Thai pepper (50-100k scoville range) maybe.  Next time get a Red Savina Habanero, the only way to go (hottest in the world at 577,000 scoville)

Does it look like this?

You need something to absorb the capsicum like milk or butter.
