I work outside and this week has been killer. All my receipts and buisness cards are unreadable.
How do you keep your stuff dry? Zip lock bag? I don't really want to leave it in the truck. Is there a cool waterproof wallet I don't know about? |
|
I don't keep it right next to my sweaty ass.
I know ... revolutionary thinking.
|
|
jesus, i sweat a lot, but you soak through blue jeans and leather?
|
|
I carry a very small, thin wallet in my front pocket.
A chiropractor once told me that half of his business was due to guys who carried around big 'ol thick wallets in their back pockets. Sitting on them throws your hips out of line over time. |
|
Side pocket on the shorts. I hardly ever put it in my back pocket, contributed to my dad getting his back messed up according to his doctor.

I leave the wallet in the side cargo pockets of my pants or shorts, stays drier.

Don't put the wallet in your butt crack... Put it in a different pocket, or leave it in the truck...
|
|
Cargo pants. Wallet goes in side pocket near/above knee. Dry as a bone. Many guys that work for me leave theirs in the truck. I'm not a fan of that though personally.

Get a nylon wallet leave your bzns cards in the truck, then it doesn't matter if it gets wet. In da south in the summer ya gonna sweet throught yer jeans if you spend more than 10 mins out doors.

I went to a front pocket ID/card holder/money clip years ago on a recommendation from a chiropractor. Back pocket wallet puts your hips at odd angles when you sit and add up to alignment and pain issues. Seemed to help me alot.
More secure also. |

Zip locks work for me when i go ocean fishing or hiking up in the mountains in the summer.

I leave mine in the pickup. strategic tactical hiding place and all that |

Aluma-Wallet in the front pocket is the way to go.

The higher the humidity (op is from MS), the less the sweat evaporates and continues to accumulate in fabric. That leaves more and more sweat to soak through whatever it can contact. |

It looks cheap and gimmicky. Do you have one? How well does it hold up? |

Ain't the wallet the only part of "the wallet" that needs to be kept dry?

WTF kind of swamp ass do you get if your wallet is wet? This... . Maybe you should be more worried about that. |

Mine gets left in the truck.
Of course, I work out in the woods, and don't have much of a B&E risk. |

I dont carry a wallet at work. Simple as that.
If thats not an option, then I suggest a small thin wallet, or a money clip in the front pocket. Big thick wallets are hard on your back and hips. |
|
Doesn't matter where you carry it, I carry a thin one in my front pocket and its about rotted away from the sweat. I do commercial a/c and its hot as what the fuck right now in Houston. Everything in that wallet is stuck together and the leather is deteriorating quite rapidly. All I can say is, leave any non-valuables (like business cards) in the truck. Take your cash and DL with you and put them in your front pocket.

|
Damn, my ass sweats but it doesn't soak anything beyong my crack. Maybe the OP needs to hook a desalinization plant to his ass and recycle.

careful with leaving it in your vehicle.
Guy at work left his wallet out of sight in his truck before he went to the gym. When he came out, the door lock was smashed and his wallet was gone. Everything else in the truck was left untouched. Seems like to me the thief watched him take it out of his pocket and stash it in the truck. |

Get a murse. I use a front pocket money clip for all my cash, credit cards and ID. My stuff stays dry even though my ball sweat could irrigate a small state on a hot humid day. My only other suggestion would be a Man-Bag. |

The end of pg 2 says to leave it in your pickup.
Pretty sure I meant page 1, but I've been drinking for about 4 hrs and just got home, so I don't worry too much about page count. |
