For Your Florida Residents,

Just wanted to post some important info about the potential renewal of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. As many of you may or may not know this ban is coming up for potential renewal (10 years old now).

I've done a little internet research and wanted to pass it along to you Pro 2nd Ammendment folks in an effort to motiviate you to write your elected State Officials (Senators & Representatives).

Please visit the following sites for sample letters, the names and address of your Senators & Representatives, and other pertinent information.

http://www.awbansunset.com/ (click on the "Write You Elected Officials" link for sample letters)

http://www.flsenate.gov/data/pub...e/sdir.pdf (This is the Directory of FL Senators with names and addresses)

http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Publi...memdir.pdf (This is the Directory of FL Representatives with names and addresses).

Please take 10 minutes of your time to copy and paste the sample letters into your word processor and send the letters off to your elected officials (even if it's via e-mail).

Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Jeff

ps For you other US Citizens you may find your Elected State Officials at http://www.firstgov.gov/Agencies/Federal/Legislative.shtml.
