Just got back from hanging out at Payne's Prairie just south of Gainesville, FL. The thunderstorms are done dumping another three inches of rain today and the sunset was pretty cool.

Looking West:

Paynes Prairie used to Be Alachua Lake until a sinkhole opened up and pretty much drained the lake almost overnight. In times of unusual rain (like now) sometimes it fills back up, but most of the time it is a low-lying wet grassy area which we call 'Prairie' down here.
