i'm just curious how heavy of a bullet do they use to get it sub sonic?

Do they have much stopping power?

I believe there are only two or three mfgrs of subsonic 5.56, hence the high price(s).

The guy I get mine from reloads himself. He says he uses Pistol Powder ? to achive needed velocities to be accurate and stay sub-sonic. I am hunting Hogs at night with a suppressor using conventional ammo most of the time which is really not too bad ,but still loud enough to scare them off after the first pop. The only subsonic rounds are like $ 5 a roundhock.gif figured the hafta be cheaper some where?
