The suspect robbed a Dollar General Store where he grabbed the bank deposit from a salesperson.  A female employee chased him down and made him give back the money.

Soon afterwards, IPD took a report of an attempted carjacking.  The would be thief tried to take the car, but finding it was a manual transmission, gave up.  He also dropped his keys with his Kroger Supermarket discount card in the car.  He later returned to the area and asked if anyone had found any keys.  A store clerk remembered his description from the earlier robbery and took down his identification, promising to call him if the keys were found.

This guy gives criminals a bad name.

HA!

Not as bad as the guy who robbed a service station in his work uniform... complete with his name tag that had his first and last name AND the company he worked for.

About 15 years ago I was friends with a guy who then turned into a crackhead.  At that point I was no longer his friend, but here is what he did:  He rode his bicycle down to a local Taco Casita and turned in a resume' and job application.  An hour later, still on his bicycle, he goes back.   With no mask or disguise of any sort, he pulls out a bowie knife and robs the place.  Needless to say they recognized him and called the police.  But wait...this is where it really gets good.  As he's riding away on his getaway bicycle, that has no chain guard of any sort, his pajama pants leg gets caught in the sprocket, and the flimsy pants get ripped right off of him, and he crashes into a parked car.  Then, he jumps up and starts running up the street, naked from the waist down, with a knife in one hand and a sack of stolen money in the other.  That's what he was doing when the police caught him.

How about this one...

Was listening to the scanner this morning and EMS was transporting a patient (inmate) from jail to the hospital.

According to the Paramedic giving the report this clown made a 3" incision in his abdomen and then inserted 3 or 4 pencils and that the pencils were still inside.

That's not the worst of it.  The PM said that the inmate had a history of doing "things like this".
