A buddy & I were pulling stumps out of the ground one day & I decided to take a video of one. Later after looking at the video we noticed that the stump looked like a face coming out of the ground... I thought it was pretty neat what do you think it looks like?

Thought you should raise your hood when using your winch so if something happened it didn't come back and smash your windshield?

The blanket serves that purpose well & it did not take much to pull the stumps out

No, you place a blanket on the cable.  If something snaps, the blanket absorbs the energy, preventing the cable from whipping back.
