Ive been working out for a few months now and ive didnt have stretch marks before I started working out, but now im starting to see some around my biceps, and triceps. How do I get rid of them? Is there a cream or something?

Here is what you need to do. Find an OB/GYN and ask him what he recommends to women for streath marks after they have kids.

I've gotten stretch marks in the past and there's nothing you can do about it.

Vitamin E capsules.

they are recommended for pregnant women, but you know the clear gel caps with the liquid,
its kinda sticky and gross, but if you break those open (just use a striaghtpin and poke it)

and rub the E on the area, it'll help them disappear faster. It also helps with scarring,
I used it on the 6" scar on my arm when the staples were still in it, and it seemed to help.

Cocoa butter. Pregnant women use it.

These remedies only reduce the noticibility of the marks. They don't make them go away.

I've heard jism juice works best.

I have found that there is not much you can do. I grew a whole heck of a lot, and put on a ton of muscle at the same time when I got my stretch marks, so you might not be as bad off.

It is unfortunaly a biproduct of lifting for many people. Deal with it, as they will probably fade away with time, but the muscle growth wont.

As a woman who's had two children, not to mention lost 90 lbs this past year. I can conclusively say that the only way not to have stretch marks is to pick different parents.

It's genetics. You either get them or you don't. Over time they will fade and become barely noticible, but for the first year or so they'll be red, vivid, and ugly!

You are stuck with them. I have them on the edges of my chest and biceps. They lighten up after a few years but never go completely away.

You can't really get rid of them, just lessen their noticeability. Tanning hides them well (especially if they are the pink type), but then you have to deal with other issues.

Jojoba oil also works good.

OK, guys. Some of the comments are correct. Stretch marks are permanet. So get over it. The only way to not have them is to prevent them. Dont get fat or overly large too quickly. They are usually red then will turn a silver color over time. They will also get somewhat smaller. Basiclly the collagen matrix that makes up the integrity of your skin is disrupted resulting in tears. It is genetics. I have seen some of my patients that get big as houses and not have one stretch mark. Others look a Cincy Bengals helmet.

The other thing is that skin doesnt shrink either. If you loose too much weight too soon, you get to look like one of those dogs whose name I can spell. LOL. Youll need surgery to get rid of it. Key is to exercise and you'll get better results. Some of those people who are gettting the bariatric surgery will require further surgery later to remove the excess.
