any convincing arguments?
which whiney, dancing like idiots, overpaid team do you like more?
I think this year Bud Lite will win the Bud bowl. They have gotten lean, mean and low carb.
well if your a liberal, starbuck drinking, hippy then cheer for the seahawks, seatle seems to be a norther San Fransisco
otherwise cheer on the steelers, oddly enough i herd today that seatle ranks very low in how they view their own sports teams, something like less than 20 percent actually follow the Seahawks, if they dont like, why should anyone eles comming from a biased Pittsburgher |
GO STEELERS!!
Big Ben n The Bus are goin birdhunting. Any Seahawg fan is a |
Funny thing... All the front-running Seahawks fans up here in Anchorage are sporting their NFC Championship hats. As a life long Steelers fan why would I want to get an AFC Championship hat? I mean, how much am I going to wear that after they become Superbowl Champs? Go ahead dipshits, sport your NFC Champs hat... 'cause that's as good as it's gonna get!
Here we go STEELERS, HERE WE GO! ~Dg84 |
Seahawks will win. They will bring rain with them and rust the steelers to crispy metal.
Seahawks not only are they a better team, but it is there first visit to thhe big game and would be great to see them win it!!
Now that part is just funny. They are the better NFC team but by no means are they better the my Steelers. |
I'm for Pittsburgh.
But the important thing is that the Super Bowl is in Detroit this year. Yep. Home of Robocop. |
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm going with "Steelers" because it seems like the manly thing to do. My wife seems to identify more with the sea, quaint coffee houses, and various birds. I'm more partial to steel, grit, cold weather and things that smell funny.
I have no convincing arguments. |

Steelers are gonna win no problem. Shaun Alexander and his still ouchie head have no chance against that defense, and Hasselbeck isn't that great under pressure. Pittsburgh already proved they will pressure any QB after they made Peyton piss himself and then sell out his team.
I bet that the Steeler's defense outscores Seattle's offense. btw- I could care less about either team, and I'm not looking foward to 17 hrs of coverage of Jerome Bettis walking his old fat ass around Detroit talking about being "home" |
I am an Eagles fan, but I'll be pulling for the Steelers in the Super Bowl. I used to live in Squirrel Hill (near Carnegie Mellon) so I have some connection with the Steel City.
I don't really have an interest in either team. In cases like that I always root for the team that lives the farthest West.....
In this case I have a friend that put 1 grand on the Steelers to win it all BEFORE the season started and he got 300 to 1 odds! I gotta go with the Steelers for my friends sake. |
I'm pulling for Shaun Alexander to have a good game and Jessica Simpson to have a hot commercial.
Charlie Batch is Pittsburgh's backup QB.
Charlie. Batch. Just thought you'd like a moment of clarity. |
DAMN! Hell, I don't even know him and I'm pullin' for him. |
GO HAWKS!!! |
yeah, maybe 80 percent of the tvs were tuned in to the championship game, but that was a one time event,
everbody knows people in seatle are more interested in the Arts than athletics, coffee than gatoraid, and any other hippy things that go on, cant see how an average one dimensional team can beat the team that bent over the two favorites to win the superbowl, and the best team ever, the colts, i think this is going to be another san Fran v SD or Dal v Buf, Hassleback, come on, he's awful, |
I still have yet to hear one convincing argument, other than the Seattle = hippies one
Yes you did. Charlie Batch. We Michiganders still can't believe he was our starting quarterback after Scott Mitchell left. (I don't really hold it against Charlie. He had a couple decent games, signed a contract worth probably 15 times what he was worth, and promptly sucked. Not his fault, but it doesn't mean I have to root for him) |
So are you saying that the Lions got Batch slapped? Thank you, thank you ... I'll be here all week ... please don't forget to tip the wait staff .... |
Holmgren is cool and Cowher is an asshole.
The Seahawks, as sports teams go, are a pretty decent group. If they win, Seattle will go absolutely ape-shit and give you something to watch on the 11 O'clock news. |
gotta go with pittsburgh--
1--hines ward represents everything that is good about sports. the man plays his guts out every play, whether catching a TD pass or blocking on a running play. he's not a glory hound, he just has fun. 2--bettis. watching his interviews, he just seems like a guy i'd like to have a beer with. hard-nosed and blue collar all the way. 3--bill cowher. 'nuff said. 4--pittsburgh: home of US steel. seattle: home of starbucks. and while seattle is western, while pittsburgh is in eastern yankeeland, this isn't enough to counteract the aforementioned reasons. |
Well Beetle,
You have reasons for both teams from one standpoint. Both teams have former Alabama players on them. take your pick bro! |
