The term "hispanic" is kinda retarded anyways. Originally it referred to people from Hispaniola - that wretched island shared by the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Later it was revised to mean (US Census Bureau....The U.S. Census Bureau defines the ethnonym Hispanic
or Latino to refer to "a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South
or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of
race" and states that Hispanics or Latinos can be of any race, any ancestry, any ethnicity)
Today us idiots use it to casually define a very narrow segments of people who primarily speak Spanish. The Spanish Empire once spanned a shitload of the world. Theirs was the 1st empire to be declared one where the sun never sets....so yeah, Spanish speaking people are all over.
"Hispanic" is a lame term, as it cannot possibly encompass all the differences. Just like we would not use "English" as a collective group to define all english speakers. Canucks, Americans, Jamaicans, British, Bajans, Auzzies, NZers, etc.
