That appears to be the Scout that is based on the M1A, not the M6 Scout.

I was talking about having M6 Scout rechambered from .22LR to .22 Magnum...
I heard that it can be done, and so I'll have the work done at a later time...

Some questions about rechambering a .22LR to a .22 Mag: Are there differing optimal twist rates for the two different cartriges? Are the groove diameters and land diameters different or identical for the two different cartriges?
Finally, does your donor meet the criteria?
I don't know the answers, but I suspect someone at [url]www.rimfirecentral.com[/url] does. FWIW.

I would like to see an M6 chambered in .308 (or similar) over 12 or 20 gauge. That would be one kickin mother [:D]

Groove diameter on a 22lr is .222,on a mag its .224
