Just saw the Wedding Crashers it was worth the rainy day matinee $. lots of laughs

however in the movie one of the story lines developes to where the 2 Vince Vaughn and Luke Owens spike a drink with eye drops and the guy that downs the spiked "eyedrop" drink get sick as hell.
Is this BS or is this a type of mild poison?

symptoms were severe throwing up and stomach cramps?

Ipecac Syrup.

It tastes nasty. No way you'd not notice it in a drink.

I remember hearing some chick that was a bartender saying she did that once to an asshole customer and that he got horribly sick pretty quickly. Have no idea if it's really true though.

so as urban legend it looks like it is BS. hopefully the movie won't start a wave of Mata Hari copycat chicks.
