OK, the video description reads:

Dude Gets Bit By Large Spider
This dude got bit by a large spider but ignored it for a couple days until it became the size of a golf ball on his face. This is video of him popping the spider bite. (WARNING: Disgusting)

To reemphasize:

I suddenly want some mayonnaise and guacamole.

I have to admit. That started my gag reflex a little bit. I am not one who gets that feeling from a visual very often.

Standard staph infection.

If he didn't smoke so much crank and pick at himself, he'd get less of these.

Just FYI.

That had to be someone on here.  Search the archives for "I got bit by something and have a growth the size of a golf ball on my face, should I see a doctor?"  That was nasty, but I agree with the poster who wonders why he kept using the tweezers, just pull it out with your fingers already.

I hope the dumb ass still went to the Dr, otherwise that side of his face will rot off. It mat already be to late.

"But... but... but it'll make such a cool video to post on the internet.  I'll let this massive infection on my face grow really really huge and then sanitize these scissors by poking them down into the drain of my sink and have my buddy hold this lousy video cam on me while I jab it and all these globs of slimy gunk will come oozing out.

"It'll be like so awesome, I'll be like the greatest chick magnet that ever lived."

It's probably his dope-mush brain dripping out.

I dont' care what he says or thinks.  Not a spider bite.  Typical MRSA.  I drain 1-2 cases every shift I do.

Exactly what that is.  Saw a surfer on a show that hit coral and got the same thing, doctor said it was staph and pull an alien out too.

How did they know he got bit by a large spider?

Yup...it ain't no spider bite.  He's a scummy mother and his GF is too.  She has a vid posted showing her pulling a smaller alien out of her right cheek by her ear.  Nasty.

They are sharing Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), then posting it for fifteen minutes of fame.

Dumbass has no idea how dangerous that thing really is.

Heh... like you, my money's on MRSA.  My other working diagnosis was odontogenic abscess from his rotted teeth, with a sinus tract coming out to the skin.

Again, too much crystal meth.

Well, I will defer to your experience, as I certainly have never treated anything. But the whole scene seems fake to me. It looks like plastic attached to his face like special effects makeup or something. Maybe it is real. What a maroon either way.

Drain it, pack it, and take some antibiotics.  Keep it open to drain, and repack every 48 hours until it's healing in.

On the face, that's going to leave a scar, but that's the unavoidable consequence of having a large infected wound that has to heal by secondary intention.

And definitely NOT a DIY cure.

Most acne wounds are confined to the upper thicknesses of the skin.  This wound is below the skin.

why was it "worm-like" when it was being pushed out??? I was expecting to see "fluid" not some alien worm thing...why does it look like that?
Nasty!!!!

The body forms a barrier between the pus and viable tissue.  Once the pus drains, this barrier deflates and then can come out.

Nasty stuff.  That wound was fresh as the pus was quite liquid.  Either way, he still has a raging infection and could possibly lose his jaw.  Or worse.

Good God!! Awful nasty!!
What is the "barrier" tissue made up of? It just seems amazing the human body can do this. And for the "wound" being under his skin, it seemed like there wasn't alot of blood for a face wound. I was an EMT about 6 years ago, and I have never seen any such shit as this, and there were alot of meth addicts (central/rural-ish Missouri). Of course none were using scissors in a dirty sink to lance "boils" like this...

And take a sulphur based antibiotic as penecillin ones are not really effective against MRSA, due to the exposure and resistance they have gained to it.
<---suffered from a bad bout of MRSA...and is allergic to the friggin Sulphur based meds that were keeping it down
MRSA is something I still suffer with but nowhere near as bad as that example.

Racheting the disgust up another notch (and just in time for DINNER):

In vitro studies have shown that maggots inhibit and destroy a wide range of pathogenic bacteria including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), group A and B streptococci, gram-positive aerobic and anaerobic strains. In a published review of five patients who were infected with MRSA, some having failed conventional therapy for up to 18 months, maggot therapy was able to eliminate the bacterium from all wounds in an average of 4 days. Maggot therapy therefore represents a highly cost-effective method for managing MRSA infection without exacerbating the problems of antibiotic resistance.

The first time I saw a dead human, I was not really affected that much.

You know, I once saw a dude get his head taken completely off by a mortar round about ten feet away.  Another time, I went through a door and found a house with all the sinks and bathtub full (literally slopping over full, in the case of the bathtub) with rancid piss and shit, and the entire house strewn with catshit and dead cats (the crazyass who 'lived' there hadn't had running water in over a year)  Still another time, I encountered a dude who shotgunned himself in the face.  I've seen vermin in someone's hair so thick you could see them moving from arm's length.

In none of these occurrences did I toss my cookies.

I confess, however, to a strong twinge of nausea watching that video.
