Civil Defense is picking up in South Korea 12 mill folks there practiced a air raid drill today !!!

Maybe they know something we don't ??

Don't hear abut something like this happening every day !!

It was basically a formality, most people just stood around or stayed in their cars (instead of heading into the subway stations)

I am fully confident S. Korean ADA can destroy the N. Korean Air Force's cutting edge fighters like the MIG 21. These aren't air raid drills. They are artillery drills.

I hope nothing goes on in the next 3 weeks or so.  We are flying through Seoul.

What I was going to say. I'd e surprised if many planes made it south of the DMZ at all.

These drills were held monthly for a long time, then quarterly, now they are rare. We did have one when I was there in 2004 or so, freaky to hear the sirens all around you and no cars moving on a usually packed Seoul street outside Yongsan. Then two F-4's flew over at about 1500 feet. Wow they are loud especially when everything else has fallen silent.
