For those of you who say, "I believe he was a wise man or a prophet, but don't know if I believe he is God" then I have a suggestion. Look at what Jesus said about himself. If you believe he was wise or a prophet, then what he says is TRUTH...if it is NOT true, than he is neither a prophet nor a wise man. You can't have it both ways. Go check it out for yourself...read the Gospel of John in the New Testament. |

God's mercy is infinite, but to claim that you're saved is a little lacking in humility. The only time you'll know if you're saved is when you die. If you go to hell, then oops! Guess you shouldn't have gone around claiming to share in God's divine omniscience! |

Uhmmm...When we get a promise like "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and ye shall be saved", from Paul, then I tend to take it at face value. God's Omniscience doesn't enter into the question, the matter of his promise does. Onthe other hand, "not every one that saith, 'Lord, Lord' shall be with him in his kingdom, but that's a matter of earthly hypocrisy by religious posuers, not those who earnestly believe in (and on) the saving power of the Ressurection.
