I have two direct descendants that fought for America in the Revolutionary War. One under Lafayette in the southern campaigns, another with the Lancaster County Militia from March of 76 to January of 77 that fought in the battle of Long Island.
I also have a blood relative that was a Hessian soldier. I bet family get togethers were interesting!  I do not belong to the SAR. However, I think I'd be eligible. |
